James Girone features Malley and Co. in his February Reporter's Notebook. See what he has to say about our Fall/Winter 2006 line below. Link to his website and Tina Barry's fashion updates: http://jamesgirone.com/barry/index.htm The fall/winter 2006 season finds Malley Gaulding and Teresa Helms of MALLEY & CO. in the mood for romance. Their latest collection Ballet Stories includes nine groups with names such as Sugarplum Fairy, Snow Queen and Little Swans. Each collection of gathered T-shirts, lovely lace skirts, some adorned with sequins, and simple, floaty dresses would look as ethereal on Lincoln Center's stage as they will at a child's birthday party. Their nine Malley Sport groups are comprised of embellished jeans, jean skirts and feminine, embroidered T-shirts.

Malley Too for Spring Summer 2006 is:
Spring/Summer 2006 ENK Children's Club Exhibition: No Botox Needed
What a show! There was sportswear with ruffles and tulle reminiscent of the Twenties and Thirties. Glitter and rock 'n roll looks mixed with clean classics; preppie suiting paired with hip T-shirts; chic Cosmo girl swimsuits teamed with sequined tunics to throw on when the sun bears down. Even animal costumes worn with stiletto-heeled sneakers - well, not yet, but I expect to see some variation of the look come fall.
The best part of the show: The time-honored manufacturers with the hippest, most exciting collections.
MALLEY & CO.
DESIGNERS: Theresa Helms and Malley Gaulding
Sizes: Infant-16; Wholesale prices: $12-$49
Fresh, feminine, not fussy sportswear and dresswear make this collection a favorite among better boutique buyers.

Outstanding Pieces: The shirring radiating from the center of this lovely celery green Tee is undeniably feminine. It pairs beautifully with the tiered skirt in a softly colored jungle print.

Southern Baby Magazine holiday issue features Malley and Co.

Children's Business magazine has put Malley & Co. onto their list of businesses that have stood the test of time:

And Tina Barry from James Girone's Guide to Children's Fashions has this to say about our fall line:
More for Fall 2005
When I interviewed designers for this shopping column - my second on sourcing great children's fall and winter wear on the Internet - all they wanted to talk about was color, color, color! Malley Gaulding of Malley & Co. is enthralled with celery green and pale pink; .....................................
Buyers love Malley & Co. (malleyandco.com) for its delightful sportswear and dress groups colored in soft, fashion forward tones. Their velour "Hoodie Dress," from the Malley Sport division, is casual, but not too informal for a dinner out with the folks. ($48, 12 months to 6X).

Malley Gaulding, who designs the line with and her partner, Theresa Helms, says, "We knew the dress was a winner when my six-year-old granddaughter Olivia said, 'It looks good.' When a kid gives something the thumbs up, you know it'll sell, and boy, did it ever!"
